Day 01 : Arrival in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Embarkation)
Arrive in Amsterdam and board your Avalon Suite Ship®. Flights must arrive by 3:30 pm; boarding is at 5 pm. Spend the afternoon exploring Amsterdam’s charming streets and canals. Optional seasonal excursion to Keukenhof Gardens (spring) or Zaanse Schans (other seasons).

Day 02 : Amsterdam, Netherlands
Choose between a guided walking tour through Amsterdam’s cobblestone streets or a guided canal cruise past stately homes from the city’s Golden Age. The afternoon is free for additional sightseeing, shopping, or museum visits.

Day 03 : Cologne, Germany
Select from a guided city walk featuring Cologne’s iconic twin-spired cathedral, a tour of Jewish heritage sites, or a bike ride with the Adventure Host. Free time to enjoy Kölsch beer before evening entertainment on board.

Day 04 : Rhine Gorge – Rüdesheim, Germany
Sail through the UNESCO-listed Rhine Gorge past ancient castles and the Lorelei Rock. In Rüdesheim, choose a vineyard hike, a tour of the Mechanical Music Museum with coffee tasting, or free time to explore. Evening entertainment on board.

Day 05 : Mainz, Germany – Excursion to Heidelberg
In Mainz, opt for a guided city walk with a visit to the Gutenberg Museum, or take an excursion to Heidelberg to see its castle ruins and the Great Vat wine barrel.

Day 06 : Kehl, Germany – Excursion to Strasbourg, France
Select from a Strasbourg city tour including its Gothic cathedral and La Petite France district, or a bike ride. Optional excursions to the Maginot Line or Alsace wine country are available. Free time in Strasbourg before sailing.

Day 07 : Breisach, Germany – Excursion to the Black Forest
Choose a full-day tour of the Black Forest with an open-air museum visit, water mill, and butter-making demonstration, or take a guided tour of Freiburg’s medieval center. Optional visit to Colmar.

Day 08 : Basel, Switzerland (Disembarkation)
After breakfast, disembark in Basel. Flights should depart Zurich airport after 10 am or Basel after 8 am.
