Amsterdam | Zaanse Schans | Keukenhof | Brussels
ITINERARY:

Day 01 : Arrival in Amsterdam
Arrive in Amsterdam and check into your hotel. Begin with a leisurely canal cruise to admire the city’s picturesque waterways and historic architecture. Stroll through the Jordaan neighborhood, known for its art galleries and charming cafes. End the day with dinner at a traditional Dutch restaurant.


Day 02 : Amsterdam Highlights
Explore the Rijksmuseum, home to masterpieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer, followed by a visit to the nearby Van Gogh Museum. Wander through Vondelpark and visit the Anne Frank House to reflect on history. Spend the evening in the lively Leidseplein area, enjoying local food and music.

 

Day 03 : Day Trip to Zaanse Schans and Volendam
Take a half-day trip to Zaanse Schans, a village famous for its windmills, wooden clogs, and cheese-making demonstrations. Continue to Volendam, a traditional fishing village, for fresh seafood and scenic views. Return to Amsterdam and explore the vibrant De Pijp neighborhood in the evening.

 

Day 04 : Keukenhof or Haarlem
If visiting in spring, spend the day at Keukenhof Gardens, marveling at stunning tulip fields and floral displays. Outside of tulip season, head to Haarlem, a charming city with cobblestone streets, the Frans Hals Museum, and the historic Grote Markt. Return to Amsterdam for your last night.

 

Day 05 : Travel to Brussels
Take a train to Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Visit the Grand Place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the Atomium, a unique architectural landmark. Sample Belgian chocolates from local chocolatiers and enjoy dinner at a traditional brasserie.

Day 06 : Day Trip to Bruges
Spend the day in Bruges, a fairy-tale town known for its canals and medieval charm. Visit the Basilica of the Holy Blood, the Belfry of Bruges, and the Groeningemuseum. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride or a canal boat tour. Return to Brussels in the evening.

Day 07 : Day Trip to Ghent
Discover the vibrant city of Ghent, famous for its mix of medieval and modern vibes. Visit the Gravensteen Castle, the stunning St. Bavo’s Cathedral, and the Korenlei and Graslei canals. Enjoy the city’s relaxed atmosphere and culinary delights before returning to Brussels.

Day 08 : Brussels and Departure
Spend your final day exploring Brussels further. Visit the Royal Palace, Magritte Museum, and Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert for shopping. Don’t miss tasting Belgian waffles and fries one last time. Depart with cherished memories of the Netherlands and Belgium.
